Florida pastor, Terry Jones, has left the pulpit to accept a new calling to fill hungry bellies with fresh French fries.  The hated minister of Dove World Outreach Center opened “Fry Guys Gourmet Fries” in DeSoto Mall in Bradenton, Florida.  The mall’s manager was unaware of the infamy of the new business owner until he was contacted by the Bradenton Herald.  The reality of Jones’ past makes his stand a security risk for the entire mall.

Despite former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates‘ request to desist, Jones burned the Quran in 2011 and placed himself on Al-Qaeda‘s most wanted list.  The most recent killing from that list is that of Stephane Charbonnier, editor of French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo.  The list, specifically, is printed on a poster that circulated on Twitter the week of January 12, 2015 and shows Jones as number #2 while Charbonnier’s face has an “X” through it.

Jones told the Bradenton Herald, “…I have about 400 to 500 death threats, and there’s an award for my life for $6.5 million.”  Despite this, Jones plans to turn “Fry Guys” into a national chain and will not go into hiding.
