Juan Garcia, 41, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and for possession of brass knuckles. According to Eyewitness News, he will not face any charges in connection with the launcher because of the inert classification.

At first, authorities concluded that the weapon was operational but soon realized it was actually inert.

An investigation that started in the Bronx was what led police to Garcia’s home.

Furthermore, the rocket is pre-packaged and built into the weapon, so once it is fired, it cannot be reloaded, says officials.

The recovered anti-tank weapon had already been fired.

“You can only use those things once,” a police source said. “Right now, it’s just a paperweight.”

Yet, this weapon is very dangerous. It is a M72-Law, which was first used in the military starting in the 1960s.
