Paging Marshawn Lynch.
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has been known for remaining silent or for cynical one word responses to reporters questions. It seems as though the trend may be sweeping the sports world as Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook channeled his inner Marshawn during an interview recently. Now, Detroit Pistons big man Greg Monroe has gotten in on the action.
During a locker room interview following the Pistons narrow 98-96 victory over the Indiana Pacers, Fox Sports reporter Grant Long asked about the teams ability to win close games, to which Monroe remained silent a la Marshawn. Apparently Long didn’t take too kindly to the snub and jabbed Monroe in the face with the microphone. Monroe was taken back but kept his composure and requested the next question.
Based on the comments surrounding the video, some are saying it was all a hoax in good fun, but is still entertaining nonetheless.
