The Blue Door Lounge has become a staple on the main strip. The exclusive invite-only space spans two-floors with bars on each, serving a variety of bespoke cocktails in celebration of those who “Fly Beyond” in the film industry. On Friday night, as part of a six-night series of cocktail parties and private dinners for the festival’s top talent who share a passion to achieve the extraordinary, Grey Goose kicked off the evening with the “Strangerland” cast party. A star-studded guest list including Nicole Kidman, Joseph Fiennes, Hugo Weaving, Kim Farrant (director), Michael Kinirons (writer), and Fiona Seres (writer) toasted to the film’s debut while enjoying specially created Grey Goose cocktails including the Premiere, La Poire Cine-mon Spice, served warm, as well as the ultimate celebratory cocktail, the sparkling Le Fizz. Crowds of fans and festival-goers gathered outside on the sidewalk, hoping to get a photo as celebrities walked into the Blue Door Lounge.

Nicole Kidman celebrated the premiere of “Strangerland” with an intimate, private dinner at Acura Studio – an evening that brought Hollywood glamor to the slopes.  Her 40 guests were treated to a delicious 3 course meal where they feasted on a variety of dishes, such as Mesquite Black Cod, Roasted Free Range Chicken Breast and Vegan Chocolate Mousse. With the dinner taking place after the screening of her new movie, it was the perfect setting for the actress to relax and catch up with friends.

Cynthia joined fellow “Stockholm, Pennsylvania” cast member, Jason Isaacs, who was one of the first people to make an appearance at the second event of Blue Door Lounge. The two caught up on the ground floor of the space over Grey Goose cocktails, as the party opened up to the second floor for guests and friends of the film to dance and enjoy tray-passed bites.

After a short break, it was time for the party for one of the most buzzworthy films of the Festival, “The End of the Tour.” Among the first to arrive was Jason Segel, whose performance in the film is already being heralded as one of the greatest seen at the Festival so far. Other members of the cast joined the party shortly after, including Mamie Gummer and Mickey Sumner. The final party of the evening was for “Ten Thousand Saints,” starring Emile Hirsch, Hailee Steinfeld and recently announced Best Actor Oscar nominee, Ethan Hawke.  Ethan was the first of his cast mates to arrive, making a beeline for the second floor.
