On this date in 2000, Ghostface Killah, along with his Wu brethren, dropped his illustrious Supreme Clientele LP. With a variety of production from the likes of Inspectah Deck, DJ Allah Mathematics, the RZA and others, this second album from the Wally champ is undoubtedly one of the stand out projects from the Wu Tang Clan‘s 21 year legacy.

Joints like “Cherchez La Ghost” and “Apollo Kids” were offered up as lead singles of the Epic/Sony released project, but that wasn’t the end all of the b-sides from Ironman. “Nutmeg”, “Mighty Healthy”, and the slain NOI leader speech driven “Malcolm” serve as proof of Ghost’s lyrical prowess as well as his knack for storytelling. There was also a skit on the album featuring the Chef entitled “Clyde Smith”, which was a direct response to 50 Cent‘s 1996 “How To Rob”, in which Rae called Fif a bird and said the Killa Bees was “gonna see you based on that big daddy”.
