Drake’s newest album, mixtape, project, or whatever you’d like to call If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 as of Wednesday. This release did better than any other release this year, aside from Taylor Swift’s 1989.

The hip hop heavyweight sold 495,000 copies in its first week, according to Billboard, just short of the 500,000 that was predicted by many industry insiders.

With Drake’s fourth effort to put out a project topping the charts, selling more copies in the first three days than any other album in 2015 other than Taylor Swift, it forces you to ask, is there anything stopping Drake?

Because this was clearly not Views From The 6, his actual album slated for release this year, it’s going to be interesting to see how long it is before we see more new music from Drake, and what other records he ends up breaking in the process of releasing that new music. One thing is for sure, he doesn’t seem like he has any intentions of slowing down.
