DSP is out tomorrow
Big Sean is currently enjoying the best 5 month stretch of his career, dating back to October, when he released the biggest hit of his career, “IDFWU,” along with three other records–one of which made the final cut of his third album–to Soundcloud. On the even of Dark Sky Paradise, which will be available everywhere at midnight, Sean channeled Beyonce’s “Me, Myself & I” record, thanks to producer Rob Got Beats, for a quick freestyle celebrating his imminent big day. If you remember, in 2013, on the eve of the release of his sophomore album, Hall Of Fame, Big Sean released the “Control” freestyle, which featured Jay Electronica and a verse from Kendrick Lamar that forever altered the course of Hip-Hop history. Fittingly, Sean used this freestyle to call out rappers hiding behind the skits on their albums–a Kendrick Lamar jab?–and flew solo on the track, making darn sure no one stole his shine this time around.
