It’s been too long since we’ve heard from Detroit’s Clear Soul Forces. But they return with good news. They’ve come with a new video, “BPSWR (BackPackerSubWooferRap),” as well as an announcement that they will be putting out a new album via Fat Beats Records. On April 28th, Ilajide, E-Fav, Noveliss, and L.A.Z. will combine forces with producer Nameless, who almost produced the whole thing, to present the Fab 5ive. As you can tell from the artwork, they have plans on saving Hip-Hop from the whack. You can be the judge if you’ll be rooting for them based on the first release (these aren’t your typical backpack raps). But don’t skip around after you hit play, or you might miss the most fire bars of 2015 in a playful battle.

You can tell that these guys take their rhymes seriously but still know how to have fun.

You can buy the new single as part of a mini EP on iTunes, which includes the Clean, Instrumental, and Acapella version. It also includes a Nameless remix of “Love Ya, Ya Know.”

Bryan Hahn hopes there’s a phone app game that will be released with this album. He’s on Twitter (@notupstate).
