Roc-a-fella Records co-founder, Damon Dash, and former Roc-a-fella artist, Kanye West, has come together to combine the elements of hip-hop into a motion picture. West executively produced the film, meanwhile Dash is a co-writer.

The movie seems to be a portrayal of life in the rough streets of New York City. The crime thriller has appearances from artists like, the LOX, Cam’ron, Smoke DZA, Murda Mook, Styles P, and other New York artists. There are also music segments between scenes, and Dash gets a chance to lightly promote his product “Dash Motor Oils”.
