The founder of Chameleon Entertainment, Breyon Prescott, has been named head of A&R at Epic Records. The music industry veteran has had great success over the past 10 years serving as A&R executive, producer and executive producer on multi-platinum projects with Jamie Foxx, Drake, Kanye West, D’Angelo, and Angie Stone, to name a few. With a full plate, Breyon shows how passion is limitless as he is currently executive producing Foxx’s new RCA album, slated for December, and also managing artists Brandy and Nikki Williams in addition to his new role.

Chairman and CEO of Epic, L.A. Reid, announced the great news this week. “His instincts, relationships and ability to deliver the hits are a perfect match for our A&R team,” said Reid.

With gratitude, Prescott stated, “After 20 years in this industry, I am honored to work with one of the last, true ‘record men’ who undeniably has the best ears in the business. I am continually impressed by LA’s leadership and ability to stay passionate for his craft, in spite of all his groundbreaking success. We have some incredible music on deck for 2015 and I’m looking forward to having many more banner years at Epic.”

Congratulations, Breyon Prescott!
