Standout emcee Yusha Assad releases his groundbreaking video for his lead single “All Yours” from his album, With Great Care: The Dream (stream it here). The project is Yusha’s third and final installment of his With Great Care series, a project that Assad put his Heart and Struggle into, before leaving us with Dream.
The With Great Care series spearheads a movement of social consciousness and revolution, and “All Yours” continues to fight social injustice, displaying the heart-gripping assimilation of what it’s like to be a youth targeted just for being black. The video opens with powerful imagery from the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman trial verdict. Assad’s assertive lyricism is contrasted by an angelically-voiced Mikki; together, the two deliver a passionate, soulful, call to action.
