Emmy Award and Golden Globe winning actor teams up with a Obie award winning actress.
Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures announced that Bruce Willis and Elizabeth Marvel will star in the new Broadway play, Misery, written by Academy Award winner William Goldman. The play will be an adaptation of the popular Stephen King novel “Misery.” If you haven’t read the book or haven’t seen the hit film, Misery is about a successful romance novelist who gets into a terrible accident and is rescued by a superfan who then kidnaps him and holds him hostage. With his life on the line, he has to find a way to make this crazy fan happy and find a way to escape. Directed by Will Frears, this play will play a strictly limited engagement in the fall of 2015 at a Broadway house that will be announced soon.
