Another police officer is under fire, this time for making a racist remark to a man. According to The Clarion Ledger, a man named David posted a video on YouTube of former Jackson County Deputy Michael Slater making a racist remark to him.

According to the Clarion Ledger, “David” was on his Xbox Live with Slater. Both men are in a chat room when “David” begins threatening Slater and quickly the two began exchanging words.

Slater begins giving “David” his address and then says,

“You about to come to a f—–g paid police officer’s house. I get paid to beat up n—-rs like you.”

Jackson County Sheriff spokesperson, Cherie Ward speaks on the incident saying that the department does not condone such behavior and that Slater was fired. Slater had been employed by the department for three years.
