It wasn’t a Fix My Life, but it sure felt like it
Iyanla Vanzant is known well for her Fix My Life series on Oprah Winfrey‘s OWN Network, where she plays life coach to several troubled celebrities as they attempt to eradicate the bad habits they’ve adopted on the road to betterment. She’s sat down with everyone from reality TV star Evelyn Lozada to famed rapper DMX, but this interview was a little different.
Karrueche Tran, the ex-girlfriend of Chris Brown, was adamant that her interview was a one-off, and not part of the FML series, but Iyanla schooled her on the “classic mistakes” the young aspiring model and actress has made, and how she can avoid future pitfalls. In the chat, which lasted just under 45 minutes, Tran reveals all the ways her relationship went sour, including a very awkward tidbit, narrated by Iyanla, that sent social media up in flames.
According to Karrueche, as told to Iyanla, on Christmas Day 2012, Karrueche was staying at CB’s condo in Los Angeles, when he left and said he had somewhere to be. Hours later, pictures of Brown and Rihanna, seated besides each other, courtside, rapidly circulated the internet.
