As all three are Compton natives, watch as they visit some of their old local spots and connect with the people of their city. Facing challenges like oppression, poverty and racism, N.W.A. overcame countless obstacles to achieve the fame the name they’re known for today. In a time where Mike Brown and Eric Garner are not isolated incidences and injustice still seeps through the cracks of society, watch as N.W.A.’s problems are still the problems of today’s generation. The cast includes Eazy-E played by Jason Mitchell, Ice Cube played by O’Shea Jackson Jr., Dr. Dre played by Corey Hawkins, MC Ren played by Aldis Hodge and DJ Yella played by Neil Brown Jr. The movie will hit theaters August 14th.
