Toronto never was the city of brotherly love

Drake and Justin Bieber are the two biggest stars Canada has birthed over the past few years, but last night, things only went well for one of these guys.

As you must know by now, Drake performed his first ever set at Coachella–he also got a few years of his life sucked out of his face by Madonna–and it’s been the talk of the town since 2:30 am, which is about the time his set ended. Thanks to this TMZ report, it may be the talk for a while longer.

A video clip–low quality, but still definitive–shows Justin Bieber being forcefully escorted by security away from the backstage artists’ entrance of Drake’s Coachella stage. According to the report, Bieber was told by members of security that he would not be allowed through–despite Bieber demonstrating that he had the proper credentials–and this is what happened next.

At that point a Coachella staffer came up to Bieber and said she would escort him inside the artist’s area. She grabbed Bieber by the arm and began walking him and his security team inside, when Coachella security came up from behind and put Bieber in a chokehold.

Yikes. The video isn’t clear about the chokehold, but you can watch it above, and try not to chuckle when you realize all this is happening while Drake performs “Marvin’s Room” atop a waterfall.
