The family of a teen who was shot 16 times by Chicago police may get the answers they deserve in the death of their son.

Last year, 17 year old Laquan McDonald was shot 16 times by a police officer. The unnamed officer says that he felt threatened by the teen because he was holding a three inch knife. The FBI and state prosecutors are investigating the claim.

Officials say that a dashboard camera captured the confrontation, but it will not be released to the public. After much investigation, the city of Chicago has decided to award the family $5 million.
