Star Ben Stiller announced that Cruz would be joining the cast on Friday (April 17) via Instagram and Twitter.

Her appearance has been rumored for about as long as the sequel to the 2001 comedy hit has been, but Stiller’s announcement was the first official word. Cruz will be joining Stiller, Owen Wilson, and Will Ferrell when Zoolander 2 hits theaters on February 12, 2016. Stiller is set to direct the sequel from a script he co-wrote with Tropic Thunder writer Justin Theroux.
