Kendrick did a lot better than his friend on the East coast

Last year, shortly before the release of his latest album, Animal Ambition, 50 Cent threw out the first pitch at the New York Mets’ ballpark, CitiField, and it was so atrocious it made national news. The pitch never even began its journey to home plate, flying out of Fif’s grip during his release and flying off in the direction of first place.

Since then, every rapper’s first-pitch has been under scrutiny, and Kendrick Lamar‘s was no different. The “King Kunta” rapper took the mound in his hometown of Los Angeles at Dodgers stadium prior to LA’s game with the Giants–which they won 8-3–and tossed a relatively good pitch that made it all the way to home plate. Not bad, K. Dot!
