The unrest in Baltimore right now has taken over national headlines, and the ramifications of Baltimore authority’s mandates have affected their hometown Orioles. After riots erupted on Monday, and continued sporadically into Wednesday, the Baltimore mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake announced a city-wide curfew (10pm), and the Orioles ended up postponing their Monday evening match-up with the Chicago White Sox.

Yesterday, it was announced that the Orioles, in fear of their game becoming a potential host for unruly activity, would close their next game to the public. Only media entities would be allowed inside Camden Yards. So, just a few hours ago, both the Orioles and White Sox suited up, and played one of their last games of the month for what was, for all intents and purposes, an empty stadium.
