One second Joseph Kent is walking with his hands up protesting, the next second a truck pulls, up cops rush, and Joe’s gone.

“What we have here is a failure to communicate.”

It truly seems across the globe, miscommunication is a big part of all the civil unrest, especially in our country.  In the most recent account, Joseph Kent hailing from Baltimore, Maryland disappeared live on CNN during the Freddie Gray riots.

Before we get to that, let’s talk about Joseph Kent.  Mr. Kent is a student at Morgan State University and a leader in the modern day activist community.  Kent was actively involved in local protests back in November says Rev. Heber Brown III, who is a longtime organizer described Kent as “Martin Luther King with tattoos and gold fronts.”

Back to the story at hand, the reason we are speaking about Joseph Kent today is because he vanished in front of our eyes on live TV! Kent was breaking the law, out well past the 10pm curfew, but peacefully protesting.  Cops with riot gear were surrounding Kent when a Humvee pulled up on the scene. That’s when the cops rushed him and pinned him against the SUV and into the back, and out of sight Joe went.

After seeing what went down, local criminal defense attorney Steve Beatty rushed to the Central Booking and Intake Center facility to track Joseph down. It has been confirmed that Kent is still in CBIF awaiting processing.
