“These Broken Wings” is the eerie visual of the song that features vocals from Inspectah Deck of Wu-Tang Clan and Shalé, recorded at DSL Recording Studios in Louisville, Kentucky. The song is produced by Jonathan Hay, Mike Smith and King Tech from SiriusXM Shade 45. The legendary DJ Revolution does the cuts and scratches on this dark single about prostitution.

The video, filmed in Charlotte, North Carolina follows a mysterious woman, played by Erika Smith, drawn to a man in a mask [played by Mike Smith]. Her dependency on this dark figure appears to be self-destructive. Their exotic dance–literally and figuratively–is characterized as a social experiment at the end of the video.

“These Broken Wings” is part of the album When Music Worlds Collide that was officially released last week and is available on Spotify and Jay Z’s Tidal.
