Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara team up in Hot Pursuit to fight crime.
This is the duo’s funniest film to date. The movie features many jokes, unexpected obstacles and unique situations. The unlikely duo pair up to fight and escape the grasp of a drug cartel. Rose Cooper, played by Reese Witherspoon, is in charge of witness protection for Sofia Vergara’s character, Mrs. Riva. Rose is in charge of safely transporting Mrs. Riva to Texas so she can testify in a case. The two could not be any more different and learn life lessons along the way. Cooper, the by the book rookie cop, puts her textbook knowledge to use. Along the way an unlikely friendship is formed. The duo goes on a hilarious adventure in order to allude some crooked cops, the cartel, and bring them to justice. The film had us in side splitting tears from the hilarity. There were also many quotable moments that had the audience laughing the whole time.
The film hits theaters this Friday.
