As mothers celebrate mother’s day with their children, one mother has to make a difficult decision on burying not one, but two of her daughters. Mary Baca, of St. Louis, got the news that no mother wants to hear. Her two daughters, 20 year old, Anquonette Hale, and 15 year old, Tahnaizja Smith, were found shot to death in a vacant lot in North St., Louis on May 3rd. Hale was shot in the back as Smith was shot in the face, chest, and arm.  According to Black America Web, police believe that the sisters may have been killed after attending a Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight party.
As the family of these two young women try to come to terms with this tragedy, they need help burying the sisters. Baca created a Go Fund Me page to give the proper burial for her daughters.  Come on people, this is tragic, let’s stop the violence and use our energy towards positive things.
