Amid all of the police brutality and economic disparity in blighted areas of Baltimore, Prince will play a Rally 4 Peace concert in the area. As symbolic message to help remember those who were lost, Prince and others have asked those who show up to wear something gray in a show of solidarity. He’ll be joined onstage by funk-rock group 3rdEyeGirl.

The multi-talented musician wrote a song about the late 25-year-old Freddie Gray, the man at the center of the Baltimore debacle, when the pot boiled over with protests and riots  earlier this month; he made the lyrics available to the public, which echo the sentiment of reconciliation and rehabilitation, but the song itself has yet to reach anyone’s ears.
