Even casual fans of rap have heard the hits off YG’s debut, My Krazy Life, Manolo Rose’s “Run, Ricky, Run,” which made this past winter feel like mid-July, or the slew of music Omelly and Slim have put out, placing them in perfect position to strike this summer and be their city’s next breakout star.
