The melodic synthesizer coupled with the consistent drum beats are both intoxicating and soothing. True to the name of the track, not only is homie’s music getting you in your bag with his precise delivery, but he’s also letting you know what life you are and aren’t about.

A Brooklyn native by way of South Jersey, Siddrick Melquan Wright  left college after his sophomore year to return to the crib and assist his family. While back home and in the struggle, he also returned to the realities of life at home: disappointment, death of friends and more.

As a source of therapy, he wrote about those struggles and turned his raps into lyrical reality. While doing so, he realized that he was actually good at it. Soon after, he released his first mixtape, Live Your Dreams or Die Trying. In it, he detailed the evictions, the deaths and all the other struggles he faced growing up that cultivated the man he is today.

Fast forward to his current mixtape, Cold Summer which has a significant buzz in the street. He keeps his fan base engaged with his 14-tracks. The musical artifact will stand the test of time by staying true to the formula that he created, real music.
