As part of the revitalization of the Coney Island area, Wahlburgers, the popular fast casual burger restaurant chain, is coming to Coney Island in June and will be hosting an all-day job fair from 2 to 6 p.m. beginning Thursday, May 28 through Saturday, May 30.
The fair will be held onsite at 3015 Stillwell Ave., where managers will meet with applicants who want to become a part of the newest outpost of the burger hotspot. The Wahlburgers team will be interviewing to fill more than 75 positions, including: management, restaurant supervisors, wait staff, bartenders, chefs, hosts, retail and cafe personnel and bus staff.
The new 6,800-square-foot restaurant and bar will be the first to open in New York, and will share all of the signature characteristics of the flagship Wahlburgers in Hingham, Mass., which has made the popular burger joint a smashing success. In addition to seating for up to 300 guests, Wahlburgers at Coney Island will offer a rooftop patio with a retractable glass roof for dining, an indoor-outdoor bar and a walk-up window serving tasty fare and specialty cocktails. A retail shop will also offer branded Wahlburgers merchandise, including T-shirts, key chains, shot glasses and more.
