Surveillance cameras caught a man opening fire on Malcolm X Blvd. in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn yesterday, and unfortunately, he’s still on the loose. The man’s intended target escaped unharmed, but a 50-year old man standing a couple blocks away, where Malcolm X Blvd. meets Jefferson Ave.

The video, which you can watch above (at your own risk) depicts the man backpedaling while discharging his weapon just before 4pm on Sunday afternoon. At the tail end of the clip, a clearer shot of the suspect’s face is visible. As far as the shooting victim, the 50-year old man was taken to the hospital, and is in stable condition.
