A botched backdoor buttlift surgery leaves a Maryland woman dead in Queens
A Maryland woman is dead after receiving illegal butt injections in a Queens basement. According to NY Daily News, 34 year old Kelly Mayhew and her mother drove from Maryland to a two family home in Queens Saturday. They waited for the woman to perform the procedure who was contacted by the victim’s friend. While Mayhew was getting the procedure done, she started gurgling and began having problems breathing.
The mother began performing CPR and asked the “doctor” to call 911. The “doctor” grabbed her things and left the woman dying while her mother was trying to save her daughter. The mother tried to contact her daughter’s friend but could not get in contact with her. Mayhew was rushed to St. John’s hospital where she later died. Police are still looking for the suspect and the cause of death is being determined. The friend has yet to be found.
Mayhew’s mother says that her daughter was very healthy and had five previous plastic surgeries before.
