In the midst of the battles between TIDAL and Pandora, and several feverish conversations about artists’ royalties and percentages, Apple has quietly stuck their foot in the door of the streaming game, and those quiet whispers are about to become from-the-rooftop screams.

Last week, Billboard confirmed that Drake and Pharrell had signed on in some capacity to be a part of Apple’s new streaming service, and yesterday, Sony Music CEO Doug Morris spilled the beans: Apple will be unveiling its new streaming service today at its WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference).
