Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad. Looks like Steve Harvey is playing his role as a good dad.

Friday on the Steve Harvey Show, his 17-year-old son Wynton shocked his dad by appearing on the show with a few gifts in honor of Father’s Day.

The first gift was an impressive pair of Tom Ford shoes that he bought with his dad’s Tom Ford account. Harvey asked, “What kind of damn gift is that? Where’s your allowance at?” The boy jokingly put the shoes down and pulled out a throwback picture of him and his dad with the quote “I’ll ride with you until the wheels fall off”. He then went on to say:

It’s going to remind me of how much of an influence you were to me and how you basically turned me into a good enough student so I could actually get accepted into college because I was having some troubles. You were able to turn me around.

Harvey is visibly moved and brought to tears. He explained later on in the show how much the gift meant to him.

I can’t tell you what it meant because we have a saying that I’ll ride with you until the wheels fall off. That’s our saying. I don’t care what you do, just come to me. Don’t go to nobody else. So it’s a pretty good gift he gave me.

There’s nothing like a parent’s unconditional love. What are you getting your dad for Father’s Day this Sunday?
