Bobby Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel, and several members of their GS9 crew are currently awaiting their trial dates, where they’ll be tried on several felonious charges, ranging from illegal firearm possession to attempted murder. Unfortunately, their road to those dates haven’t come without incident.

During a recent court appearance, the judge presiding over Shmurda’s case was made aware that Shmurda–real name Acquille Pollard–was arrested on Tuesday on Riker’s Island for possessing a shank, or a “sharpened metal instrument.” It is a Class D felony, and Shmurda will be dealing with the additional charge separate from the charges he will face when his trial begins on Oct. 5.
