Trumps comments recently about Mexican immigrants “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists” have stirred the pots to many angry voters. Yesterday NBC dropped Donald Trump and cut all ties with the billionaire. The comments were made during his announcement for presidency. The Miss USA and Miss Universe will not be aired on July 12.

Today Miss USA organizers commented  on the situation and said “we are disheartened by recent events, but the show will go on.”Currently the event has no networking station that will be airing it.

“At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values,” the company also said on Monday. “Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump.” Reports have found out that although Trump said that he has “enjoyed” his relationship with the network, he is not backing down from his comments because he feels as though he is telling the truth. He told CNN correspondent Athena Jones that he may sue NBC due to their backing out of their contract.

He also went on to say:

“If NBC is so weak and so foolish to not understand the serious illegal immigration problem in the United States, coupled with the horrendous and unfair trade deals we are making with Mexico, then their contract violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court.”

This isn’t the first time that Trump has said something that not only offended many people at a time. In April, Donald Trump’s reaction to Hilary Clinton’s presidential announcement on Twitter was something that literally took everyone by storm. In a tweet, he said :

The media went crazy and because of that, Trump has been on a tight rope with the popular vote. Stay tuned on the update on this roller-coaster presidential campaign.
