The debut solo album by NYC crime rhyme rapper Prodigy of the Hip Hop duo Mobb Deep was released on November 14, 2000. After four Mobb Deep albums, Prodigy took a temporary break from the group projects and released his first solo LP for The “H.N.I.C. Series”, which is an acronym for “Head Nigga In Charge” for those who are unfamiliar with the term.

H.N.I.C 2 was released on April 22, 2008. H.N.I.C. 3 is the third solo studio LP dropped by Prodigy, today July 3rd, in 2012 under P’s Infamous Records imprint. The album features guest appearances from N.O.R.E., Wiz Khalifa, T.I., Havoc and with production from The Alchemist and even T.I. The Deluxe edition, with four bonus tracks, had an alternate cover and check out the H.N.I.C. 3 Mixtape on DatPiff
