Meek Mill sounds off on that awkward Twitter back-and-forth

Over the weekend, Meek Mill and Joe Budden engaged in a rather comedic back-and-forth on Twitter, beginning with some comments Joe Budden made on his podcast regarding Meek and Nicki Minaj‘s relationship. In a nutshell, Budden said he felt Meek’s music was “too hard” to be acting as sensitive as he was acting around Nicki Minaj, and alluded to the fact Meek was acting with a bushy-tailed demeanor because he’s not used to having women as “bad” as Nicki.

Meek responded half-seriously with a series of Twitter trolls, in which he called Joe Budden a “noodle” and invited Minaj’s fan base, the “Barbz,” to further ridicule the New Jersey rapper and reality TV star. Nicki herself even jumped in on Twitter, hashtagging “podcast” to troll Budden about one of his current claims to fame.

Today, Meek took to The Breakfast Club to chat with Charlamagne, DJ Envy and Angela Yee on his new album, his very favorable sales–246,000 SPS (wow!)–and other pertinent Meek Mill issues, like said Joe Budden interaction. You can watch the entire interview above, which really gets going when the Bfast Club crew gets to asking about the Twitter spat.
