After just releasing his second studio album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, which topped the Billboard 200 chart and is currently the number one album in the U.S., Meek Mill made his debut at the revolutionary Drai’s LIVE concert series on July 11, 2015 with a full-length concert at Drai’s Beachclub • Nightclub atop The Cromwell in Las Vegas.
Also at Drai’s The Weeknd performed a sold-out concert and Quincy Jones partied 11 Stories above Las Vegas Boulevard.
On Thursday, July 9, Sheikh Shoes took over Downtown LA on Broadway Avenue to celebrate the grand opening of their newest Legacy Level store. This part included the re-releases which included the Cool Grey 11s and Chicago 1s. Some of the guests that attended this fabulous event was Jesse Willams from ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ as well as a bunch of LA influencers and tastemakers who all had a chance to get these exclusive shoes while enjoying the music from DJ Sean G.
One of the things from the store that is a must see is the illuminated 23 in the Jordan shop which is actuallythe same height as Michael Jordan himself, 6’6”. The floor for the Nike shop is patterned in style of the pivot point of the Nike Air Force one. The newest Sheikh location is located on 745 S. Broadway, LA, CA 90014, and is now officially open and through the month of July to celebrate, Shiekh has some of the hottest re-releases slated to drop all month.
Saturday afternoon, DJ Paris Hilton hosted a Fourth of July bash at TAO Beach. The starlette was dressed in a custom Patriotic-inspired ensemble, red Chanel biker gloves and shades, as she hung out in a private cabana with her boyfriend Thomas Gross, brother Barron and close friends before her set. Hilton greeted the packed crowd from the DJ booth stating how excited she was to host her “favorite pool party in Vegas.” The energetic DJ danced and took shots, as she played a mashup of EDM, Top 40 and her hit new single “High Off My Love.” Throughout the set, fans went wild as Paris threw out custom t-shirts and beach balls into the crowd.
