Phresco upholds hip hop’s true to form storytelling in his latest release, giving listeners a glimpse of his life prior to the start of his music career. “Summer Nights” is a smoothly produced record, with the rapper taking on his slick talking Jersey persona while craftily filling in the gaps with the universal experiences of summer. Phresco’s fluid rhymes are accompanied by a mellow yet hard hitting beat fashioned by California based producer Matt Shimamoto aka MKSB.
