Well, this is unfortunate
Brandy is an internationally famous R&B star with over 25 million albums sold, and enough hits to make today’s hottest R&B artist cower at her feet. So, one would imagine, if she randomly broke out in song on a crowded NYC subway train, somewhat of a raucous would follow.
Wrong.
The above video is what really happened when Brandy boarded a 7th avenue NYC train and began singing nearly at the top of her lungs. She received the silent “oh shut up” from several people, and if you look close enough, you’ll see some side-eyes. Finally, she got some interaction from a straphanger towards the end of the video, but it wasn’t enough to combat the vast silent disapproval she received from the majority of the car.
It should be noted that, unlike Tyrese, Brandy isn’t using this to promote a new single or album. Just having some fun.
