A reported anti-military rampage leaves four Marines and one Navy petty officer dead

Thursday, 24-year-old Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez opened fire at an armed forces recruiting center and a Navy Reserve center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Islamic Supremacy and religious ideologies are said to be the motive.

The victims are Sgt. Carson Holmquist, 25, grew up in Grantsburg, Wis.; Randall Smith, a 26-year-old petty officer, died at 2:17 a.m. Saturday of injuries he suffered from the attack; Marine Gunnery Sgt. Thomas J. Sullivan had made it home safely from two tours in Iraq; Lance Cpl. Squire K. “Skip” Wells, 21; Staff Sgt. David A. Wyatt, 35, was a veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
