With the month of July coming to a close, it is around this time every year that NFL teams begin their annual training camps. It is now that many rookies can show and prove their worth, while low draft picks are just fighting for a spot on the final 53-man roster. Of course, this time of year also means that the new edition of EA Sports powerhouse Madden NFL Football game will be released.
With fans in anticipation for the new additions to this year’s game, NFL rookies including Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, Devin Smith, Amari Cooper and others were asked to guess what their ratings in the game would be, before being shown their actual ratings. Many of them guessed around the low to mid 80s, while others even guessed all the way into the 90s. Confidence is key, but several of the rookies were hilariously surprised. Check out the clip above.
