The legendary DJ’s car keys were given to the car thieves by the parking attendant at the lower Manhattan parking garage

Grandmaster Flash, whose real name is Joseph Saddler, parked his car in 101 Car Park on 23rd Street in the Chelsea section of Manhattan on July 16th, but when he returned an hour and a half later, his car was gone.

According to reports from NYPD and statements from Flash, a parking attendant at the garage mistskenly gave the keys of Saddler’s custom white Dodge Charger to those who made off with the living legend’s vehicle, which has yet to be located.

“If the public garage is not safe then somebody tell me WHERE,”

Flash posted on Facebook. His team also added on FB page that the Charger “was full of priceless vintage records and equipment.”

Representative at 101 Car Park would not comment about the missing car.
