UPDATE #2: Angie is currently airing her full chat with Birdman, which took place over a 2-day span in Miami recently, and as expected, Ms. Martinez asked Baby about the shocking news that broke just over a week ago, in which Birdman and Young Thug were named as co-conspirators in a plot to kill Lil Wayne in an indictment against Young Thug’s affiliate. Birdman says he’s actually spoken to Wayne about that incident, both before and after the indictment came out. Angie went on to ask about the indictment, and Baby replied by saying there’s “no indictment on me,” and he elaborated about how he felt about the incident in question.

“If something’s happening with my son, I need to find out what’s popping. If you’re gonna shoot a gun at my child, I got a problem with that. Any n*gga that busts a gun at Lil Wayne, I got a problem with that. I don’t care who it is.”

Expect the interview to be released in its entirety very soon.

Angie Martinez is airing her full sit-down with Birdman in Miami on her show on Power 105.1 right now, and you can tune in here. She will be airing the full chat in clips, beginning with Birdman denying any notion that Drake and Nicki Minaj will be leaving Cash Money in Part 1 (which you can watch above).

ORIGINAL STORY:

Birdman finally speaks on the rumors and reports surrounding him

Today at 4pm, Angie Martinez‘s full, in-person sit-down with Birdman–quite possibly the most controversial figure in Hip-Hop right now–will air on Angie’s show on Power 105.1. It’s a very anticipated interview, especially considering everything Birdman’s name has been involved in over the past few weeks, including an indictment that names him and Young Thug as co-conspirators in an alleged plot to kill Lil Wayne.

Prior to the Young Thug situation, Birdman’s been accused by both Tyga and Lil Wayne of holding up the release of their recent albums. Tyga’s allegedly held up LP, Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, was released on Spotify and eventually iTunes earlier this month. Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V still hasn’t seen the light of day.

Above is a brief clip of Angie’s sit-down with Baby, and be sure to check back at 4pm for the full conversation.
