Unfortunately, Roddy Toombs, known by fans as Rowdy Roddy Piper, a 2005 WWE Hall of Fame inductee and an integral part in the WWE’s blowing up process in the late 80’s and early 90’s, has passed away.
It was Toombs’ feuds with Mr. T and the recently disgraced Hulk Hogan that helped spur massive interest in the WWF, and was integral in the first Wrestlemania in 1986.
According to TMZ, Toombs died from cardiac arrest.
