Mac Miller drops unreleased P! collaboration
On Saturday, the tragic news of Brooklyn legend Sean Price‘s passing broke, and the outpouring was immediate. Artists decorated Brooklyn walls with images of the Duck Down and Heltah Skeltah rapper, and thus far, over $70,000 has been raised by the supportive public to assist Price’s family with his funeral costs.
Today, Mac Miller let loose with a song he’d completed with Price prior to this weekend, under his production-prolific alias Larry Fisherman. The song, titled “Pet Sounds,” is tailor made for the Bushwick native’s talents, featuring a deftly cut sample, and a subtle but definitive bass line, providing a wide open end zone for Sean P to dance all over. In support of Price’s family, Mac made sure to emphasize that folks enjoying the song donate, if possible, to Price’s family’s cause.
You can do so here, and listen to the song below.
