The officer who shot and killed a football player has been fired and is most likely facing criminal and civil charges. 49 year old Brad Miller has been fired after shooting and killing unarmed 19 year old Christian Taylor, after the police chief found the shooting of Taylor to be unreasonable. Miller was responding to a burglary at a car dealership when he shot and killed Taylor who allegedly drove an SUV into the dealership.

Miller’s lawyer says that the firing of Miller is political. According to sources, the Tarrant County District Attorney could present the case to a grand jury. The Arlington police department are waiting for toxicology reports on Taylor to see if he was under the influence after footage was released of Taylor kicking out car windows and driving an SUV through the showroom of the dealership.
