Keeping with the goal of decreasing friction in access to live sports, Gametime will add some of the nation’s top programs for 2015 including Ohio State, TCU, Baylor, Michigan State, USC, LSU, Wisconsin, Oregon, Arizona State and many more. They will be accompanied by a bevy of neutral site showcase games throughout the season beginning on Sept 5th with Alabama vs. Wisconsin (Dallas), Louisville vs. Auburn (Atlanta) and Texas A&M vs. Arizona State (Houston).
With the surprising reality that college football attendance is in fact decreasing, Gametime expects its innovative mobile delivery platform to help bring more casual fans to games with easier access to seats than ever before. According to a recent Wall Street Journal report, college football attendance has dropped as much as seven percent from 2009. NCAA attendance figures showed the FBS (Bowl Subdivision) realized its lowest per game average attendance since 2003. Gametime wants to help change that reality by offering a ticket buying solution for students and fans alike, that is the simplest on the market, surfacing the best last-minute deals even after the game has started.
