Remember that time a while back when Common and Drake had their mini rift? It resulted in Common directly calling Drake out in a diss track to the beat of “Stay Schemin”. Common also threw subliminal shots at Drake in his single “Sweet” in which he confirmed was for Drizzy on Sway in the Morning.

Drake didn’t hop in the booth the same way he handled Philly emcee Meek Mill, but he did respond in an interview on a live show saying, “I might sing, but I ain’t no bitch. If Common got something to say, say it to my face.” Serena Williams did in fact play a part in this beef according to Common. Now years has past since then and Drake and Serena were spotted lip locking, looking like they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. What’s Common got to say about that?

Well he told TMZ:

Serena is a friend of mine, as long as she happy I’m good. We dated, that’s done, that’s been done a long time ago, so it’s now like we friends. As long as she happy, I’m good.
