The NFL has seen a number of their players gain widespread national attention for incidents ranging from domestic violence, child abuse, and deflating footballs. As the 2015 season is set to kick off tomorrow night, it seems as though players would be too focused on the start of the season to get into any trouble. Not the case with the New Orleans Saints Cam Jordan. The defensive end was at New Orleans area nightclub Republic when things went a tad bit left.
According to reports, Jordan spotted a women whom he knew walking past him when he allegedly took the opportunity to slap her on the butt. The woman’s boyfriend confronted him and a minor scuffle ensued. After the tense situation subsided, reports also claim that Jordan later sprayed that same couple with a large bottle of champagne as the night was coming to a close.
Jordan has not been charged with any crimes but local police are looking into whether the incident warrants a misdemeanor sexual battery charge.
