What a Time to be Alive
After weeks of suspicious Instagram posts, a fake online countdown and fake album art, Drake and Future have finally released their surprise mixtape. The 11-track project is appropriately titled What A Time To Be Alive and is laced with production from Metro Boomin, Southside and Noah “40” Shebib. The tape was premiered on Apple Music moments ago.
Drake and Future have always had chemistry whenever they get on a track together. They have an artistic bond that is stronger than most might think. In an interview with The Breakfast Club Future said that their collaboration on his DS2 album was a last minute thing and that Drake heard the album the night before it was to be turned into Future’s label and told him that he just had to be apart of it. The two also went on a short mini tour this year so hopefully this means that the two will hit the road again.
